AMERICATEL/1010-123
In 1997, Americatel was a $12 million telecom boutique owned by Entel Chile, a former state monopoly.
Created collateral materials in US English to market business-to-business services. Then the company launched a campaign of events, direct mail and television featuring Latin TV personality Don Francisco, selling prepaid, dial-1 and 1010-123 dial-around services to US Hispanics. Created and produced the print to support the new services, in Spanish.
By 2002, Americatel was a $300 million common carrier, and its owners spun off the company.
